I think it is important that all students in a classroom take on job responsibilities. Plus, there is no way a teacher plus an assistant can get it all done! Children need to feel a part of the class. Classroom jobs foster a classroom community. There are always jobs that kids live for...line leader! Then there are jobs that kids forget they have...plant monitor. Regardless, all are equally important. Using mycutegraphics and hellofonts, I've put together 24 different classroom jobs using owl graphics. The only time I didn't use owls was for the bathroom monitors. I used a boy and a girl. Thought it was pretty important to be gender specific!
